About Ruxandra Cash

When I was much younger I assisted my Physiotherapist aunt in her clinic in Romania, I enjoyed learning about massage therapy. I gained a degree in Film Directing and had a short successful career as a TV film director in Bucharest. When I moved to the UK in 2008 I was unable to find a job as a film director so I trained as a beauty therapist which re-awakened my passion to be a massage therapist.

I decided the best thing to do would be a therapeutic massage course or a course in massage therapy so I looked around and found the London school of sports massage I was attracted to this school because of its excellent reputation and it's convenient location in Central London. I was delighted to discover that in addition to sports massage the London school of sports massage is also the leader in in soft tissue therapy and the only massage school at the time offering the higher BTEC level 5 qualification.

I'm delighted to say that I studied Soft Tissue Massage Therapy with the London School of Sports Massage and qualified with a BTEC Level 5 in Soft Tissue Therapy in 2014 and since then I have broadened my clinical skills and experience further through:

  • Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation and Posture Coaching
  • Functional integration
  • Myofascial Therapy
  • Natural Facelift
  • Cadaver studies
  • Observing my child as he discovered how to stand, walk and run.

In my Willesden Green clinic I treat clients suffering a wide range of minor and chronic pain and injuries and aim to achieve more long lasting benefits by working to improve movement and posture with a variety of more advanced techniques as well as massage. My particular focus is on how the brain effects the neural pathways which can lead to poor muscular control and I use movement patterning exercises to try to correct this.

My clinical experience includes working with sportsman, musicians, singers, actors as well as those with disabilities and conditions that affect the nervous system such as Parkinson's disease. I have also worked successfully with children who have problems in walking, vision, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, sensory integration issues and orientation problems.
